CIRCE verdejo by AVELINO VEGAS. A unique wine from the DO Rueda, a different Verdejo that surprises when the glass gets close to the nose and fascinates on the palate.



CELLAR AND WINES:

Avelino Vegas SA controls more than 600 hectares of vineyards, of which 90 hectares. They come from old vineyards, some almost a hundred years old, located mainly in the area of ​​Segovia, where their new winery was installed. In this area the vineyards are small, most of them between 1 and 3 hectares and the Verdejo grape is grown exclusively. The age of the vines makes their grapes contribute to the wines

A great complexity of aromas and good structure.



ELABORATION:

This wine is made with grapes from old vines, from the Segovian localities of Moraleja, Aldeanueva, Codorniz and Santiuste, harvested manually, at their ideal point of maturation. A light cold maceration immerses the flower in all the varietal aromas. Fermented at low temperature (12 ºC), the wine finally rests on its fine lees, to achieve the greasiness in the mouth that characterizes it.

Straw yellow, pale, very bright. On the nose it presents aromas of exotic fruits, white flowers and varietal aromas. In the mouth it is fresh and sweet, with a soft and silky medium palate and a very long and fragrant aftertaste.

Ideal for any aperitif and seafood. Fantastic with the foie.
