Esta fragrância foi criada em 1959 por Jean-Paul Guerlain, que tentou transmitir o dualismo da natureza: frio e calor, equilíbrio e perplexidade. Esta essência é dedicada a um homem que ama o campo, o cheiro de terra molhada ou folhas molhadas ou a brisa fria da manhã. Sensações únicas que só este perfil sabe apreciar.
A sua pirâmide olfativa começa com notas cítricas frescas como bergamota, limão, laranja e toranja, causando-nos uma muito semelhante à colónia clássico do impressão tempo, mas rapidamente desaparece esse perfume para abrir caminho para suas notas mais viris e intensas: Folhas tabaco, pimenta e noz moscada, nuances picantes que nos anos 50 e 60 estavam totalmente ligadas à masculinidade. Para completar seu rastro, a Guerlain inclui sândalo, patchuli e fava tonka, proporcionando um tom levemente mais amadeirado.
