OMEGA-3 HIGH CONCENTRATION OF SOLGAR . Good fats, also known as omega-3 fatty acids, are essential fatty acids. They are called essential because the body is not able to produce them on its own. Omega-3 High Concentration contains the most important types of omega 3, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These are commonly found in oily fish such as sardines, mackerel and salmon. Both EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function and a normal level of triglycerides. This Solgar product features balanced omega 3 fatty acids and is molecularly distilled to remove mercury.
